ECOSYSTEM APPROACH TO DETERMINATION OF LOSSES FROM POLLUTION OF WATER RESOURCES WITH REGARD TO THE FORMALIZATION OF THEIR VALUABLE MEASUREMENTS
Abstract: The theoretical and methodological principles of ecosystem assessment of losses from pollution of water resources are researched. For the first time scientific approaches to ecosystem assessment of losses from water pollution by objects of losses, which include three main aspects: orientation to the development of the theory of losses of ecosystem services, the theory of ecological risk and the theory of degradation of the water ecosystem, are grounded. The algorithm and conceptual scheme of ecosystem estimation of losses from pollution of water resources which can be applied at formalization of their value measure is offered.
Key words: ecosystem approach, damage from pollution, cost measurement, water resources.
